I can see why this cigar got 94 score in Cigar Aficionado 2023. Absolutely fantastic cigar. Basically a smaller box pressed Robusto with quite a dark wrapper. The taste is a little peppery at the start but after an inch or so it develops into a beautiful intense favour of dark chocolate expresso. The taste lingers on the pallet for a long time compared to most cigars, this gives a good amount of time to saviour and enjoy the flavours. For a smaller cigar it puts out a lot of creamy smoke. Easy draw and fantastic construction. I am glad I bought 3 of these!

I had a very disappointing experience with this. It tasted salty all the way to the end. A friend raves about the cigar. But mine was a waste of money

Im afraid to say that this was a disappointment. As a big fan of the Padron 2000 and maduros in general so my expectations were high at this price point, its a smaller cigar than the 2000 too. It was slightly bitter, more spicy, a hint of sweetness, which was nice, but I only detected that a couple of times. I smoked it to the end and it lasted about half an hour. The draw and build quality were of a high standard but there are bigger and better maduros out there that are cheaper, including the 2000 maduro, in my opinion.

Beautiful cigar. Quite strong hit of nicotine at the end, which surprised me but enjoyable. Definitely more for a celebration than a daily or weekly smoke. Will be getting another two for the humidor.

A great smoke and if you're someone who likes maduros this is for you! A complex array of flavours changing with each third you smoke, very good smoke output, just below the 'chewy smoke' level up of smoke. Good construction and burn was razor sharp, about 45-60 minute smoke, just excellent.
