Taste: a classic rum aromatic — gently sweet rather than sugary, with the rum sitting on top of the tobacco instead of masking it.

An excellent compact tool made to the highest quality. It consists of a tamper, prodder and reamer. This can help clear those frustrating pipe blockages and it looks good as well. Would make for an excellent gift for any pipe smoker.

This is easily one of Rattray’s most aromatic blends. From the moment you open it, you’re greeted with an intense burst of vanilla, candied orange, and tropical fruit which is rich and unmistakable.

What sets it apart is its consistency. It doesn’t fade halfway through like some aromatics can but instead, it maintains its character right down to the bottom of the bowl. The orange note leads the way, while other flavours subtly weave in and out, keeping the experience interesting throughout.

Some say letting it dry slightly enhances the flavour even further, though that comes down to personal preference. What’s undeniable, however, is the exceptional room note which will be especially appreciated by those around you.

All in all, it’s a standout blend for aromatic lovers: cool-smoking, mild, and free from tongue bite. Definitely one worth trying.
