Enjoyable little smoke with a coffee or sparkling water. Ideal size to enjoy if short on time or don’t want to commit to a larger cigar. Looking forward to trying more of the La Invicta range that C Gars have to offer.

The La Invicta Nicaraguan Panatela wasn’t really for me. It’s a nice-looking, long cigar for the price but the flavour was far too bitter and strong from the start. I gave it a fair go, managed about a third, but eventually binned the rest. Even the more affordable Hamlets taste better to my palate. Maybe it would suit someone who prefers a heavier, punchier smoke, but I just found it harsh and unpleasant. A shame, really, as it looked promising, but this one’s off my list for future buys.

Lit nicely, pretty tight draw but nice flavour, developing dark chocolaty taste about halfway down, quite spicy in the final third. Had to relight after first third, but maybe I smoke too slow, or maybe this was a very tightly rolled example. The draw eased up a little after a quick massage near the band. Burned evenly enough all the way down, ash didnt hold on very long though. Seems decent for the price as I got 45 minutes out of it (as stated above Im a slow smoker though and this seemed a tight example) Much prefer this to the Villager export box pressed cigars which come in at a similar price. I would gladly pay the extra 30p a stick for these. Will be ordering more as a cheap midweek smoke. Service from CGars was excellent, ordered Sat night, got here Tues morning..... Just wish Id have held off until Sunday to order, then I could have got quadruple points for Valentines Day!

I have probably smoked over a hundred of these and have experimented at storing them at different humidity levels. I find At 70 they are rubbish and tasteless at 65 it turns into a different cigar all together 65 brings out all the flavours. I have found them a good mid morning cigar, very consistent well constructed and I have found them to burn evenly but Im very experienced and careful with lighting a cigar. I use the heat from a jet flame lighter about half inch away from the flame I do not put the flame near the cigar until the cigar is ready to go.

I really like these panetelas. similar price to Dutch everyday cigars but I prefer the flavour, plenty of smoke for a slim cigar, and can last 40 minutes if you smoke them gently.

Im new to cigars having only started trying different types since early January 2019. Having tried a couple of these early on along with some other Invicta cigars from Honduras. I can say I prefer these and have bought more for a daily treat. Mild creamy smoke, to date all have burnt evenly and build quite a head of ash however, they do burn quickly and only last about 20 minutes or so but then, that may well be the way I smoke them.
