Suitable for the experienced cigar smoker although also to be appreciated by the novice experimenting with flavour characteristics from different tobacco growing regions.

"I like to try and bring my clients cigars that they are unable to find anywhere else in the UK and I am delighted to introduce our own exclusive range of cigars from Peru."

This one came in a sampler alongside some Gurkha cigars and, having seen several positive reviews, I was keen to see what all the fuss was about. Flavour wise, I can understand the praise. It started beautifully smooth and was developing into a very enjoyable little smoke. I gave it my usual V cut and for the first half the draw was good, the flavour was pleasant and everything seemed to be heading in the right direction. Unfortunately, I think I simply got unlucky with the construction. The body of the cigar felt reasonably soft, but the mouthpiece end was unusually hard. As the smoke progressed the draw became increasingly restricted until it was eventually far too tight to enjoy properly. I ended up having to use a straight cut further down than I would normally like in order to remove the harder section. That immediately improved the draw, but by then the wrapper began to unravel and the cigar was fighting a losing battle. It was a shame because underneath the construction issue there was clearly a very decent cigar trying to get out. I am not going to judge it too harshly on the basis of one example. Cigars are handmade products and occasionally one gets through that simply does not behave. The flavour was good enough that I would happily try another and see if this was just a one off. So, unfinished business rather than a bad verdict. The rematch will decide it.

Had my first experience with this stick after getting a couple in a sampler bundle. Flavour wise it's decent with plenty of woody and earthy notes and a decent smoke from that perspective. On the down side it was a bit of a challenging smoke. The draw and the burn was very inconsistent and uneven and the construction wasn't great. Multiple relights and the lit end finished up looking like a mashed up fountain pen nib. All in all a bit of a mixed bag and I don't think i'll be rushing back.

This cigar is a bit of a mixed bag now. Construction is sometimes a bit hit and miss and rustic. That said, it packs a bit of a punch and has a decent 'cedar' taste. I found a nice, easy draw and easy burn. I bought these on a deal and am satisfied with that, so if you want something at the cheaper end of the market and are not desperately fussy, then get them when on offer. There are far worse.

Poorly constructed, no smoke production and I could barely get a pull on it as it was so tight. Had no choice to throw it away, very dissapointed in this one. Also tried to cut the cap mutiple times with no changes to the draw.

Part of a bundle deal, then the construction has certainly been improved in 2025. Nice and earthy and surprisingly good and even Cuban-like.Must buy more.
