The wrapper came loose straight away and was way too tight, I tried rolling the foot and a tooth pick to try and get a draw and persevered for over an hour but it then burnt uneven too; I think I may have just had a bad one looking at other reviews but it made me want to spit on occasion to, quite a bitter taste I thought. Maybe I was swayed by the lovely dark wrapper and the price; I will try another just to see if I’m wrong but not for a while.

Decent size stick Long smoke - lasts about 50-60mins Very reasonable price and as a beginner and having tried quite a few now and I keep coming back to this one so would definitely recommend this smoke. Nutty flavour definitely.

My goto cigar. Meaty, pure gangster gauge wise: gives you something healthy to cling onto. Sweat, comforting flavours from the get go. The flavour stays nutty and sweat throughout. Many of the reviews claim it unravels after cutting the cap or it needs a punch for draw. I've smoked over 50 so far: no draw or unravelling issues. Smoking one now and forgot my cutter; I snipped the end with my teeth: perfect draw. This cigar needs some awards, top banana, you can't go wrong. Commit to a 5 pack and enjoy a minimum of 1 hour smoke. The lady at the counter in shepeards market alluded to loving these cigars too. It's short, fat and packed with flavour. Perfect for all occasions. I'm in tenerife watching the sun set and so glad I have this companion with me.

What a difference from the blue bombaso. Day and night. I bought them in pair. I tried the blue first. It was a total garbage. I dont understand the better reviews on that. (Maybe I have just got a bad stick but I wont be buying more of that) I didnt have high hopes for the red but I was wrong. The draw superb. Burns evenly. No touchups needed and most importantly the taste is very good. Its an excellent budget stick.

Writing this during the last third of the cigar. First half was nice, had a sweet almost flowery taste to it. However about half down it kept burning unevenly and needing touching up about 5 times in total. The wrapper also started unraveling where I cut it which is a bit annoying. No issues with the draw. Personally I prefer the mitchellero novellini for the same size and cheaper price. Dont think Ill be buying again.
