So straight off the bat, this stick is an absolute bargain. Not the prettiest. Had a nice dark but veiny wrapper. Although I’ve always preferred function over form and this did not disappoint well constructed with an even burn, and for my liking a perfect draw. Started with leather and chocolate developing slightly spicy notes as it progressed. Would absolutely recommend!

I am fairly new to cigars and I had previously focused on Nicaraguan boutique styled cigars and budget ones as well. I like strong flavours so this attracted me due to the maduro wrapper and size (you will have to forgive me, I am still learning all of the phrases). So this cigar when I first tried it was different, very earthy with some chocolate notes. This was maintained all of the way through but no complex flavours that jumped out. I did notice some issues around the cap, where it started to come a part as I went through. The second one was much better, this could be due to the fact that every hand made cigar might be a little different or that my palette is developing. The second one had nice spicy complex flavour throughout mixed with delicate chocolate notes it was much more enjoyable and the burn rate was around an hour. Again though there were issue with the cap coming a part. I used a punch cut the second time thinking my cutting technique with a straight cut might have been a little off but the same thing happened with a punch. I will be ordering again and probably a box next time. They are good a smoke and nice flavours, developed by a well established company and exclusive to Cgars. I do like that aspect, different is good. BUT the cap degrading is a bit of an issue and might put people off as they are £9 a cigar. That is going into the more established brand cigar price range (for me). It was frustrating to suffer with the cap problem at my level. I would recommend though - 5 stars for flavour and uniqueness 4 stars for the cap quality

Thoroughly enjoyable - first third was a little “quiet” in flavours but middle and final third were fantastic. Good draw with a plethora of smoke. Great value for the price!

First thing that struck me was the lovelly dark leaf and what looked like solid construction. On cutting the end the outer skin came unstuck, this seems the norm on a cheaper smoke but after carefully licking it and sticking it down didnt bother me again. On lighting, the draw was nice and even throughout and I had no battle to get a mouthful of tasty smoke. It burnt well for what has a shade over half an hour and to be fair to it I have smoked plenty of havanas that needed more touching in to burn nice and even than this did. I would not have enjoyed it so much if I had not of had a beer with it as the bitterness from the leathery/coffee tastes would have been a little overbearing however this I would grade as medium strength and went just nice with a pint of ale and imagine would do the same with a coffee. Could of been a little spicier or sweeter for my tastes but on the whole very nice and good value. Definitely will be having more of them. Only given a four but deserves a four and a half.

On the one hand this has to be my favourite smoke among the four flavours of the four inca Secret blend Bombaso offerings. The only negative is that the cap needs a punch because using a cutter of any description causes too much unravelling of the cap. Not just a little, a lot. Which spoils what is otherwise a really well balanced rewarding smoke.
