Hazelburn 15 Year Old Sherry - 54.2% 70cl

The annually released Hazelburn Sherrywood range provides a stark contrast to the fully Bourbon matured Hazelburn 10 year old.

Hazelburn is one of three single malt brands made at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, and it’s known for being triple distilled and unpeated.

Matured in 100% Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 54.2% ABV, this 15 year old release is a complex, full-bodied dram.

Nose: Zesty orange aromas and tangerine notes initiate this dram, opening up to hints of milk chocolate, wine gums and fruit cake.

Palate: The oloroso maturation presents itself on the palate with a bed of cinnamon, hard toffee and milk chocolate.

Finish: There is a musty element reminiscent of cigar boxes and nutmeg.
