One of several budget cigars I have tried recently. Really did not like this at all. Very bitter and a harsh smoke for me. Not the worst I've had but pretty close to it. I much prefered the Jose L Piedra Czadores

I'm new to cigar smoking and have been trying some of the cheaper end cigars to start with so I wouldn't describe my palate as sophisticated. I found this cigar to be okay, nothing special. It arrived already fairly badly cut so I had to do a little minor surgery before sparking it. It didn't look particularly well rolled but maybe that's the way with machine rolled cigars. I haven't smoked enough to know. It tasted okay, too woody and earthy for my liking but quite smooth and mellow with no offensive aftertaste. I did get some unravelling toward the end but nothing too bad. I wouldn't buy again but wouldn't refuse on if it were offered to me either.

Not very nice, but then for the price I shouldn't have expected too much. Uneven burn, bitter taste until about half way through where it mellowed a bit. I wouldn't write off all of the Guantanamera range though. Their Puritos are quite nice.

very mild woody cigar, draw too light for me and not enough smoke for my liking, construction wise some filler loose but burn was pretty even, not in my top ten but for £3.20 can't grumble

A very poorly constructed stick. There was a lot of lose filler and cracked wrapper. The draw was a little tight. The burn was uneven. Flavour wise it was ok. A nice light fermenty tobacco flavour with a little oil. little hard wood characters on top. however, the stick was a true disaster on the construction front.

A mild and woody flavoured cigar with a tint of sweetness. The leaves are mature so I can understand complaints about it's structure as it must be contained in perfect conditions. Guantanamera's have the distinctive aroma & scent of Cubans. It is obviously not in the league of my favourites - Romeo y Julieta and Cuesta Rey, however it ranks above any European cigar brand, and is excellent value for 100% Cuban tabacco. A.Rodriguez
