GUANTANAMERA

Guantanamera cigars are a relatively new cigar having been created and released in 2002, this cigar is now one of our most popular budget priced Cuban cigars.

The brand was named after perhaps Cubas' most well known song "Guajira Guantanamera" (Spanish for peasant girl from Guantánamo") by Joseito Fernández which can be heard in just about every bar in Cuba every evening.

The Guantanamera range comprises light strength machine-made cigars using short filler tobacco from the lesser Vuelta Arriba region.

Guantanamera cigars have pre-cut heads, a cigar cutter is not required.

Tasting Notes

New in 2009, the Minutos is the latest tubed cigar from Guantanamera. Made by using the best blend of tobacco leaves from Vuelta Arriba.

I smoke these all the time and find the taste is great with no harshness.Sometimes the cigar burns down one side but can be lit again. My local tobacconist has had to put the cost up but as i only buy ten at a time it is no problem.A new malt whisky to try with them is Fettercairn Warehouse 14 .0001,the combination of the light flowery whisky with the mild minutos is very good.

My local tobacconist can get me these little beauties in a pack of 10 and at £6.50 each.A full bodied smoke that retains a long ash.Not harsh on the palate.Stays lit and doesnt need relighting.Would suggest for a newcomer to cigars.

Imposable to draw any smoke out of it, it is so tight. When you do get anything out of it, its very light. Overpriced for what it is

Fantastic little cigar! Very smooth and light, didnt go out, had a light grey ash with an even burn throughout. well put together as well. Will definitely buy again despite my favourite cigar being Montecristo Edmundo!! 5 Stars.
