Released for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2025.
This is a new sherry but that would have been delivered into Dufftown in early 2012 and filled with Balvenie 12 year old for around 9 months.
The cask was emptied and then filled with new make Glenfiddich in December of that year.
Glenfiddich is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky owned and produced by William Grant & Sons in Dufftown, Scotland. Glenfiddich means ‘Valley of the Deer' in Scottish Gaelic, hence the presence of a stag symbol on Glenfiddich bottles.
Glenfiddich is the world's best-selling single-malt whisky and also the most awarded at the International Spirits Challenge.
This production was limited to 200 bottles total.
Nose: A delightful sherbet spice and toasted oak. With vibrant hints of citrus, baked apple, almonds and caramelised orange peel.
Palate: Lively with a velvety mouth feel. Keeping a pleasing balance of vanilla, marmalade and oak tannin.
Finish: A finish that keeps a long lasting sweet spice.
