All Buenaventura cigars use only the traditional Cuban cigar making process with authentic Cuban Criollo and Corojo seed grown in Nicaragua.

From cultivation, to fermentation and aging, every detail makes a difference. During the production of each cigar, every single leaf has been touched by the hands of people to complete maturity. Only then the full, deep aroma of tobacco truly develops.

Curivari cigars are made with 100% Cuban seed Nicaraguan tobacco.
They are blended for a classic Cuban flavour profile that is enjoyed, not with focus on strength, but more looking for flavour and aroma in a right balance. All cigars are finished with a triple cap.

PICADORES

The Curivari Buenaventura Picadores is a mixed filler Buenaventura with a Habano wrapper from Jalapa, Nicaragua, the Picadores’ dark, habano wrapper gives this stick a nice spicy flavour to its earthy, coffee profile.

Lovely little cigar. Lasted just over an hour outside in slightly breezy conditions. Nice easy draw. Very even burn requiring no touch ups. Ash held well, about 15 minutes between each ash drop. Nice woody taste initially with a dark chocolate developing. Produced a good amount of thick smoke. I would say medium to strong in strength. Great value for anyone after a good smoke on a budget. Becoming one of my favourites.


Lovely smoke, that packs a punch! Just smoked this whilst walking the dog on a nice summers evening, very pleasant, was expecting it to be a little milder, nice dark chocolate notes, eat something first.


A rough start with an uneven burn and too much pepper for my taste. Quite tight a draw but not overly an issue. The flavours are definitely present with woody peppery notes and the ever so slightest hint of chocolate. Certainly not a bad cigar but nothing to write home about. Get them cheap and you'll be happy enough.


I’m quite new to cigars so can’t give a very in depth review however the construction was perfect with the burn line remaining even when I was smoking in a mildly windy out door setting. Plenty of smoke and no harshness or bitterness in the last third. Very enjoyable smoke at a low price point. I did pick up a chocolate note a few times before it escaped my inexperienced palate.


For the price this is an excellent cigar. Not complex by any means but a lovely sweet taste of milk chocolate and almonds with a hint of white pepper on the retro hale. It does become slightly bitter in the last 3rd. Lasted 55 mins and has a great burn, draw and loads of smoke. This would be a great cigar for any beginner. Great buy. Highly recommend.

