Glad to report Curivari continues to thumb its nose at sticks over twice their price. This Robusto, and the Corona are 'must stock' items for me. I have never had the slightest problem with these cigars. Perfect burn, lovely construction/wrappers, plenty of smoke from a perfect draw. This is not a smoke to sit there po faced scratching your chin trying to find the subtle flavours of Grandma's handbag but rather chatting away with a group of friends and a couple of beers they become a part of the enjoyment. I would definitely rate them slightly on the mild side of medium progressing to the fuller side as it progresses. I probably wouldn't rate it as a morning smoke/ breakfast cigar but after lunch right through to dinner no problem. That said, I think this is an easy one to pair. A cold beer or wine with lunch, absolutely great with a double espresso and enough going on to finish with a dark spiced rum or a gentle, non petty malt. Profile for me was uncomplicated, simply a nice well rounded flavour with very gentle spice, hardly makes your nostrils tingle on the retro! No monumental changes into the second third just continues to gently build. Final third the spice comes in but not aggressively and the flavour is quite full. I nubbed this to half an inch with no problem!! As affordability becomes more of a concern to many, to find a Robusto of this quality and reliability is a blessing. If you haven't tried them, do so, just remember it ain't no Cohiba, it's just a good value, well made and enjoyable cigar!!

I enjoyed this one more than I was expecting, i'd say it has a good rich habano flavour. Construction-wise it lit easily, burned well and evenly, but is quite soft to begin with. the draw was good though, i'll return to this one. Ideal for a beginner i'd think.

Lovely little cigar. Lasted just over an hour outside in slightly breezy conditions. Nice easy draw. Very even burn requiring no touch ups. Ash held well, about 15 minutes between each ash drop. Nice woody taste initially with a dark chocolate developing. Produced a good amount of thick smoke. I would say medium to strong in strength. Great value for anyone after a good smoke on a budget. Becoming one of my favourites.

Lovely smoke, that packs a punch! Just smoked this whilst walking the dog on a nice summers evening, very pleasant, was expecting it to be a little milder, nice dark chocolate notes, eat something first.

A rough start with an uneven burn and too much pepper for my taste. Quite tight a draw but not overly an issue. The flavours are definitely present with woody peppery notes and the ever so slightest hint of chocolate. Certainly not a bad cigar but nothing to write home about. Get them cheap and you'll be happy enough.

I’m quite new to cigars so can’t give a very in depth review however the construction was perfect with the burn line remaining even when I was smoking in a mildly windy out door setting. Plenty of smoke and no harshness or bitterness in the last third. Very enjoyable smoke at a low price point. I did pick up a chocolate note a few times before it escaped my inexperienced palate.
