BUENAVENTURA

All Buenaventura cigars use only the traditional Cuban cigar making process with authentic Cuban Criollo and Corojo seed grown in Nicaragua.

From cultivation, to fermentation and aging, every detail makes a difference. During the production of each cigar, every single leaf has been touched by the hands of people to complete maturity. Only then the full, deep aroma of tobacco truly develops.

Curivari cigars are made with 100% Cuban seed Nicaraguan tobacco.
They are blended for a classic Cuban flavour profile that is enjoyed, not with focus on strength, but more looking for flavour and aroma in a right balance. All cigars are finished with a triple cap.

BV PETIT

The Buenaventura by Curivari BV Petit is a beautifully crafted Nicaraguan cigar that pays tribute to the golden age of Cuban cigar making. Blended with authentic Cuban Criollo and Corojo seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua’s rich volcanic soil, it delivers a harmonious balance of flavour, aroma, and craftsmanship. Each cigar is rolled entirely by hand using traditional Cuban methods, offering a smooth, medium-bodied profile with notes reminiscent of the legendary pre-embargo Habanos - earthy, creamy, and elegantly refined from start to finish.

Oh my word! What an absolute treat these have turned out to be. I've now smoked 5 of these from the box of 20 I ordered last month having previously had a couple of singles to try. Construction is excellent, though the burn line on a couple has gone a bit wayward once the first ash has dropped. Neither were so bad as to need touching up with the lighter though. All have been well rolled, with the draw being perfect every time and none have produced any loose tobacco once cut - I favour a V cut which suits these little flavour bombs well. That flavour is quite earthy and leathery with an edginess of black pepper and a hint of nutiness on the retro hale. I notice today that a lot of this make is out of stock. Hardly surprising that these are catching on given the quality for the price point. Now one of my favourites.
