COSMETIC DEFECT - Glendronach Cask Strength Batch 11 - 59.8% 70cl

The Glendronach Distillery has announced the latest entry in one of its most prestigious brands - The Glendronach Cask Strength Batch 11.

This is a limited whisky that comes in at a rare ABV due to its very nature.

Glendronach’s Master Blender, Dr. Rachel Barrie, explains that

"This eleventh batch is the embodiment of the distillery’s celebrated style of Spanish Oak maturation. The liquid has matured in Oloroso Sherry and Pedro Ximénez casks from Andalucía. Each bottle comes in at 59.8%, which is absolutely insane. A truly astounding strength, but one that you’ll remember while you gently sip it on a cold winter night."

Nose: Oranges, cloves, nutty oak, dark treacle, and mulled cranberry.

Palate: Toffee interwoven with spiced bramble wine sultanas, chocolate maple, and cinnamon.

Finish: Warm with spice continuing throughout.
