A bit harsh for my palette, I found it was a tad bitter, likely the nicotine, although it improved mid way. The wrapping wasn't great and started peeling towards the end and I diddnt find it anything special, however I've just started on cigars which may be an aggravating factor.

Having smoked Cohiba’s for many years now (Siglo 1-6 /mini’s and shorts)… The Cohiba shorts are my perfect go to short smoke, for the pub or during a day out (especially amongst friends all smoking cigarettes time wise) and they provide the great Cohiba taste with easy accessibility in convenient packaging. I always felt the Cohiba minis were nice but too stick thin. The short is lovely make way cigar between the mini and a Siglo 1 which i regularly enjoy in conjunction with the Shorts for the races, nights out, functions etc. I have not yet tried the Cohiba Shorts Wide version but intend to do so for comparison.

It's like smoking a log. Very ashy, bonfirey. Tastes like a dodgy cigarette. No real development of flavour. The construction was good - very dense, with an even burn and tight draw. Overall, quite poor and I won't be buying this again. You might like it if you prefer cigarette flavours. IMO, the Trinidad and Davidoff shorts are much better for the same price.

As someone who is fairly new to the world of cigars, I recently had the opportunity to try a Cohiba Short, and it was an interesting experience overall. From the moment I opened the pack, I was impressed by the presentation. The cigar felt well made, with a rich aroma that hinted at quality tobacco. For a beginner like myself, that initial scent alone was enough to spark some excitement and curiosity. Upon lighting, the draw was smooth and the smoke output was satisfying, especially for such a compact cigar. The flavor profile started off rich with earthy notes and a hint of spice that added some character. I could definitely appreciate the craftsmanship and why Cohiba has such a strong reputation among cigar enthusiasts. That being said, I did find the harshness a bit stronger than I expected, especially toward the middle and final third. As someone who is still developing a palate for cigars, the intensity caught me slightly off guard. While it wasn’t overwhelming, it did remind me that the Cohiba Short is still a bold and flavorful smoke despite its small size. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and feel it was a good introduction to a stronger, premium cigar, even if it was a touch harsh for a beginner.

The Cohiba Shorts were alright, but I’ll be honest, I was expecting a bit more. Maybe it’s because I’d really enjoyed the Cohiba Minis and had high hopes for these, but they didn’t quite hit the same mark for me. The flavour was fine, just nothing that really stood out or made me want another straight away. They’re not bad by any means, just a bit underwhelming considering the name on the box. I actually prefer the Minis by a long way, they’ve got that sweet, satisfying edge that these seem to lack. Still, worth trying once to see for yourself, but for me, the Minis remain the clear winner.

After thoroughly enjoying the 'Siglo I', I wanted to check if there were more affordable Cohiba's on the market. I'm happy to say the Short really delivers Cohiba's flavour profile and aroma for a fraction of the cost. Admittedly it is tiny and a very short smoke but I was still impressed.
