Bought this picadillo, along with a couple other cigars, this I can say was the best out of the 3. the first quater Id describe as a creamy coffee then into the middle was some minty notes, which I really enjoyed, the last section was a bit peppery on the tounge. Im just a beginner on the cigar scene but I really enjoyed this smoke, took overall a good 40 mins to smoke while having the crack with the boys, a big step up from the cafe cremes

Dry, wrapper fall apart but surprisingly spongy in the last 1/3. Bland taste, woody cedar but nothing to remember. In the last 1/3 it became extremely bitter and spongy I couldnt smoke. Much better the maduro, still not too exciting but it has its profile and its enjoyable.

This was a wonderful find. I love my Partagas Serie D no 5 but it gets expensive if you fancy one every day. I found this to be a perfect substitute. Here you dont get a Cuban but you get the best out of 3 areas a Nicaraguan and Honduran tobacco long filler, then finished with an Ecuadorian shade wrapper(hence the light colour). It is well made, the wrapper is of good quality and stayed together for the full time of the smoke which was just under an hour. It had a very even burn all the way to the end. The 1st 3rd was light cedar woody notes with a perfect amount of sweetness and it has a fabulous draw. Things got a bit more intence as the cedar and earthy note has taken over with the sweetness although still present falling to the background. The last 3rd is the gamechanger here as all of a sudden we are talking flavours and smells of cedar, earthiness, amerrican white oak and on the last few draws choccolate with a peppery finish. A perfect smoke for any time of the day.

I promise you that if you swapped the label for a cohiba label and charged £30 for it, some of the people giving this a 1 star review would be waxing poetically about how amazing this is. Whilst it certainly is not a top 25 all time smoke or anything, it is a GREAT smoke for the price. The government makes impossible for the average British gives enthusiast to be able to afford to smoke a premium cigar everyday. But these ARE affordable, even in this country, and for the price they are exceptional. You cannot do better this side of £10 and these are only a fiver. Satisfying smoke, good construction, nice flavours. Perhaps one day the chancellor will remove duty from premium cigars as they make up a tiny fraction of tobacco duty, but in the likely even that never happens and you can buy a box of le bijou 1922 for £100 like in the states, this is a good alternative. Overall this is a 4 star smoke, but I give it a 5 for the value

As a beginner and smoking Montecristo, these for the price to enjoy with a beer as a more causal smoke are superb - highly recommended!
