A lovely, big ring gauge cigar, nice subtle dark chocolate and coffee flavours. Doesn't quite stand up against some of the more expensive maduros but at this price I think they are an absolute bargain, I always have a few of these in the humidor....a must try!!!!

I'm very much a Cuban cigar smoker but keen to explore non-Cubans. To this end, I ordered 10 of these little fat chaps and was amazed at the quality of the smoke. Cool, cocoa/chocolate taste, slow, even burn and a 60 minute smoke - for the price extremely good value. I find myself going back to the few I have left and will most certainly be ordering more. I was initially apprehensive of a 60g cigar but, using my larger V cutter, the experience was far beyond expectations.

Just a quick addendum to my previous review: I bought a box of these cigars and they're nowhere near as tasty as the individual cigar I bought. Although they've been in my humidor for nearly 3 months now they're still dry tasting with none of the big flavours I'd previously savoured.

Usually I tend to go for smaller ring gauges and milder wrappers. How fantastic this little gigar is. Smooth, spicey and with hints of cocoa it is a great smoke at the price. I am sure that although this was straight from the wrapper it will improve with age.

Thought I'd give this size of cigar a go and bought one of these, a Chinchalero Novillo, a La Rica Gordito and a La Rica Gordito Maduro. When I opened the bag they came in, there was a strong smell of the camel house at Chester Zoo. Being relatively new to cigars and none of the cigars I'd previously bought smelling like this, I was a tad perturbed to say the least. Took a quick look at some forums and the conscensus strangely appeared to be that the more they smelt like manure the better the cigar would taste. The conscensus was spot on! This cigar had a lovely chocolatey taste that I'd say wasn't far off the Montecristo Grand Edmundo 2010 I'd recently tried and was a fifth of the price. There was over an hour of smoking to be had as well. It's hard to tell how long exactly because I tend not to smoke them all in one go. I was so impressed that lacking the cash to buy the company, I've settled for ordering a box of 20.

I saw these and thought I would give them a go. Very supprised, it was never going to be a Cuban, But never the less, well worth a punt, Well constructed, easy draw with a mild mellow smoke, with an even burn. Constant flavour for the length of the cigar. All in all very happy with this budget cigar, and I will be buying a few more.
