I bought this as a bit of a rare treat in terms of its size and smoking time. Lasted a whole 1hour 45mins, and that wasn’t going particularly slowly either I must say. I’m giving it 5/5 in my first ever review, simply because of the construction quality, burn quality and overall attractiveness at this price bracket. It might not be the most complex cigar for some connoisseurs (or then again it might; I’m not very qualified or experienced), but I really enjoyed it and there was enough nice flavour to it, which noticeably didn’t change much throughout (fine by me). Felt very solid and sturdy, but not in a hard, uneven or dense way. Perfect moisture / oil content for a nice look, feel and burn. Will try the maduro version too I reckon.

Just had my second MMB. Boy did it take me back to a proper time, after 'Nam and we were sent into Africa to hunt down and "deal" with poachers and drug runners. When we got back to the camp, the six of us would sit round the fire, the Huey , Patrols and Landcruisers glinting and reflecting the fire light, the smell of damp heavy canvas from the still steaming tents. It gets dark quickly and early in Africa, a ink blue canopy of the universe studded by diamonds over our heads, our wonderful "boys" would have given us dinner and we fat just chewing the fat about this and that, close by we could hear the big male bull elephants almost grumbling their approval, as they recover from their hang over from too many fermenting Amarula fruit... hyenas calling to each other. The booze would come out and so would the cigars..big American cigars, proper cigars, full of scent and smoke which blended well with my Bourbon...... The MMB? A sensational cigar. There are two major prerequisites for this superb cigar:- Teeth and time. This cigar is big and wide, you need to grip it properly. The MMB lights well, burns evenly, never needing rotation or god forbid relighting. The smooth heavy smoke fills the air, burning cocoa husk, melting dark chocolate, hints of Beech logs burning, it fills the air, lingering long and aromatic. The draw is so easy, the first third is smooth, soft, mocha, rich leather blending well with the Bourbon, then the middle gives more flavor, a little stronger, deeper, not peppery like chilly, more smoke dried Paprika, and roasting lamb, that wonderful burnt bit near the bone, yes I'm a carnivore, not some tree hugging, sandal wearing vegetable sucking do "gooder"... The last third, the flavour becomes more intense, more fiery, but never fierce, never hot, more like a really good Vietnamese or Cambodian dish, the mouth tingles, the taste buds light up. There is one more odd thing about the MMB. Now I'm old, hell, I'm ancient, but when I lit the MMB up at a Fall BBQ, to my surprise there were two very different distinct reactions. The men were looking, mostly patronizing and dismissive, a look so typical of the so called "superior" but blinkered English male.....yet, to my surprise, and my wife's concern, more than one woman asked what I was smoking and were very complimentary about the smoke drifting amongst them, two wandering over to our table, one even placing her hands on my shoulders and asking to try it.........boy I got hell when I got home!!!! Even in this lunatic, ridiculous PC crippled, butt licking country, it would seem that a good, superior, beautifully crafted cigar is sexy...... A fabulous, elegant, MAN's cigar.......

A good cigar.nice even burn throughout,I did have to blow through a couple of times to keep it alight, but that's probably expected with these big ring sticks.nice taste, the toro is more tastier though.if your going to be watching the world cup get yourself a few of these bad boys in as you will light it at the start of the match and you will be smoking it until the end,a good two hour cigar.
