Bought this cigar in amongst some Bolivars, I’ve been looking for a decent robusto maduro that didn’t break the bank all I can say is YES! Mission accomplished, fantastic cigar that lasted an hour and had a great evolution of taste, fantastic construction with a even burn will be buying a box of five in my next order!

WoW :) Havent even finished the last 1/3 or finished my diary entry, I dont have to, this is a beauty ! I tend to go towards the longer , say, Churchill cigars, so glad I tried this and the Ghurkha Ghost, ( I dont understand the negative reviews about the Gurkha, I adored it ) which is also an excellent smoke, or my lack of taste? But this is in almost a class of its own. I know I whinge about the tax we pay but stuff that in this case, its worth every penny. A couple of touch ups but thats probably down to my slow smoking style, a wet finger solves all. Im writing this review slowly so I can finish this beast of a flavour bomb! Simply, Im ordering more when I finish this review No theyre no cheap by any means, and Im on my pension ! But for a nice day and walking DogFace this is in my top go to list for short sticks, really, its made such an impression on me and my palate. 2nd third was much the same as the 1st but the final 1/3d had a bit more punch, but at well into the final third on a short cigar its no real not a surprise. Heady on the final, again my smoking style, but lovely, not harsh by any means, I let it go at 1 1/2 and wish I had another for a couple hours later. Try one, youll love or not, I LoVe !

Loved this stick. Had it yesterday. Nice draw, Burned well all the way though with no corrections or going out, which is a frequent problem for me because I am a slow smoker. Got a rich smoke from it with nutty, cocoa and with a slightly salty finish and about two thirds down an intense peppery note but not harsh or overpowering. One to try if youÂ’re a fan of MaduroÂ’s.

Really enjoyed this smoke. It starts light and breezy, and moves into deeper notes and flavours as you get into the second half of the stick. I have been smoking a variety of brands of late out of curiosity, and I keep coming back to this one.

What can I say but WOW. I brought 3 of these a few months back and they have been sitting in my humidor since. I havent had a smoke in a few weeks, as had lots going on. Decided to give myself some time to have one this Eve and i picked one of these and Im glad I did. Starts off very peppery, but about half an inch in and I got a big hits of sweet coffee and spice. Occasional hits of dark cocoa and cedar, with mild pepper. Burnt a bit uneven, but I put that down to the wind tonight. Cant wait to see what leaving my other two in the humidor for a few more months will do.

Very good smoke and an amazing price here though I was given one as a gift. Full on taste without being overwhelming. Notes of sweet dark cocoa, coffee and a sherry/raisin note too. Starts of very peppery but settles after a few puffs to a medium but consistent spice. Perfect and slow burning but lots of rich creamy smoke so great value for money.
