Description Ref # BO1500

The Bolívar Tubos No. 2 cigar opens with a bold expression of earth, leather, and black pepper, true to the brand’s full-bodied character. From the cold draw, you’ll detect notes of cedar, barnyard, and dark cocoa, with the foot offering a slightly sweet, woody aroma. Upon lighting the cigar, the first third delivers dense, oily smoke loaded with earthy richness, espresso bitterness, and a touch of mineral sharpness on the finish. The retrohale is peppery, adding a vibrant kick that lingers.

Tasting Notes

Overall Impression:

The Bolívar Tubos No. 2 cigar delivers a bold, full-bodied Cuban cigar experience in a compact and convenient Petit Corona format. Despite its modest size, this cigar offers impressive depth and complexity, showcasing hallmark Bolívar flavors of earth, leather, espresso, and dark chocolate, with a peppery backbone and subtle sweetness that evolve throughout the smoke. Housed in a protective aluminium tube, it maintains freshness and makes an excellent travel companion or gift. Perfect for seasoned smokers, the Bolivar Tubos No. 2 provides a rich, satisfying smoke that punches well above its size — a true reflection of the brand’s powerful reputation.

Excellent stuff. ;-)))) Having been scared once by a Number 3 Tubo - the nicotinal equivalent of Hiroshima - I approached the idea of smoking ANOTHER Bolivar with trepidation (to say the least) - but the bigger cousin to the Number 3 is a real pussycat. ;-)) My advice to newbies (for what it`s worth) is that the Number 2 is a NOT a stick of dynamite and can be smoked to the last inch (cheapskate) without friction burns appearing on your lungs. ;-)))) As Mo says above, "I`m no fan of tubed cigars, but the Boli 2 is a very good corona indeed." It`s full bodied, full flavoured and simply drips with Boli spices - a really pleasant and exotic smoke. You certainly know you`ve had one - it`s not a cigar for the first timer, perhaps - but !!!! - well, with so many characterless cigars on the market, this certainly has a personality all of it`s own and you`ll certainly remember smoking it. ;-)) Recommended - and- as far as tubos go - HIGHLY recommended. Five out of five, no two doubts - light up one of these, pour y`self an espresso and - a good time`ll be had by all. Thumbs up. ;-)))) written by Dave Francis

this is a favourite of mine. There are plenty of times when you are out eating a nice lunch and you want a good Havana cigar with flavour and strength but dont have loads of time on your hands. These are perfect half hour cigars full of dusty, earthy flavours with hints of coffee bean and cocoa. Construction is not perfect with a lumpy and uneven wrapper but they burn even and draw well producing mouthfulls of rich Bolivar smoke. written by A. Dyer
