Firstly I must confess that English blends are my favourite so I might be bias towards this tobacco as it is a very good English. I bought my first tin back in April.
Straight out of the tin the earthy sweet smell of an autumn campfire hit me, wonderful! I grade my tobacco 1-10 and I grave this a 9 however, smoking a bowl this morning 4 months later I gave it a 10. It definitely benefited from some aging. As a contrast my favourite English is Peterson My Mixture 965 which I also gave a 10.
Aston Consummate Gentleman is great value for money IMO. I am definitely going to buy some more and put them in my cellar.
