Arran 13 Year Old Port Pipe Small Batch - 53.2% 70cl

Very limited release from the always brilliant Arran distillery with casks hand picked by distillery manager Stewart Bowman himself.

This small batch single malt was distilled exclusively for the UK by Arran distillery, located on the outskirts of the picturesque Lochranza village on the North Shore of the Isle of Arran.

The whisky was aged in ex port pipe barrels for 13 years and bottled at a chunky 53.2% ABV.

Full bodied and intense with heavy hitting notes of vanilla, cinnamon and ginger sitting on a bed of ripe dark berry fruit and toffee apple richness. 

Just 1286 bottles were released exclusively to the UK

Nose: Raisins, molasses, toffee apples. Lots of caramel,with a vanilla hint. 

Palate: Full bodied with a rich mouth feel. There's a sweetness to it with honey and zesty citrus and apple notes to begin followed by cinnamon.

Finish: Long smooth finish. Sweet with ginger spices.
