This cigar is a hot mess! I try not to leave negative reviews as, all too often, its just a subjective matter of preference and the flavour profile isnt to my taste. However, this was an objectively unpleasant smoke. The draw was very tight. It opened up a bit with the use of a PerfecDraw, but it was still a nightmare to keep lit and smoke without a lot of effort. I finished this cigar long before it even reached the half way point, partly because it kept going out, and partly because the flavour was quite unpleasant. The predominant flavour is bitter and its quite difficult to find the nuance of other characteristics underneath the overt bitterness. A touch of hay and chocolate comes through on the occasional draw, but its rare. I appreciate this is an inexpensive cigar, but there are other, better brands with cigars around this price point, such as Quorum or Dutch Label.

Tried one of these from a local source, and i have to say how dissapointed i was, maybe it would have been a different cigar had i ordered it from CGars? However my review of it is as follows. Trying to light this was difficult as the wrapper just blackens instantly and fails to burn correctly resulting in constant relighting and a near impossibility to smoke unless you keep removing the unburnt wrapper which extinguishes the cherry through lack of air. Taste is ok, nothing to write home about, produces plenty of smoke but not in the right direction. Perhaps try one from CGars, it may be different, but i certainely will not be trying this one again.

As a newbie to this probably not the best advice. I lit it straight from the envelope so not sure if i need to leave it for any lenght of time first. Was a nightmare to stay lit, was really quite harsh to taste couldnt taste anything but the smoke, no flavours in there. I dont know if its good for the money or not, as I said Im new to this but I bought a mix of 4 different ones to try and find my feet but this one will not be in my next order.

Holy damn the price of this cigar... it's a nice little panatela, don't get me wrong, but it's not worth the price. It feels more like a montecristo purito, which averages around £1.50ish. Even a guantanamera purito is a bit better. The taste was "pretty good", nothing exceptional, nothing brilliant, but a pleasant 20 minute afternoon smoke. It's really not worth it. General quality seems pretty good. Reviewed by CigarHub on YouTube.
