ALEC BRADLEY

Alec Bradley Cigar Company dates back to 1996 and was founded by Ralph and Alan, it was their passion for cigars that encouraged them to invest their life into something they love; founding Alec Bradley Cigar Company.

In 1998 they decided to create their first cigar together, Occidental Reserve. The response proved that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and that pushed them to continue to develop cigars that we and others have been excited to smoke.

Alec Bradley have a goal: to give you, the cigar smoker, an unforgettable experience.

TEXAS LANCERO

Bigger is better when it comes to cigars and this Texas Lancero has offered exactly that! Lanceros are usually slender ring gauge cigars but the Alec Bradley Texas Lancero measures in at a whopping 7" by 70 ring gauge, that's over an inch in diameter. As they say, "Everything's bigger in Texas!"

This giant smoke has a pig tail head, is made using tobacco from Costa Rica, Honduras and Nicaragua ligero filler that has a rich flavour and aroma.

"During one of my trips to the factory, I set off to create a large cigar with even bigger flavor. I played around with a few ideas and came up with an interesting twist, the Texas Lancero. The massive 7’’ X 70 ring cigar is finished with a pigtail, a capping technique traditionally reserved for the long, thin and nuanced Lancero size. Texas Lancero is a fitting play on words for a large cigar that’s remarkably smooth and balanced, with a size and flavor as big as the Lone Star State!"

Disappointed to say the least! It took so much nursing keep it burning evenly, I even cut it half to give it another chance but gave up and had a Regius instead! No spiciness for me just hints of frustration with a strong undertone of annoyance!

Definitely impressed with this monster of a cigar......working my way through most cigars on the site and would recommend a try.....an easy draw , fine blend with head turning size and looks ...if you can put up with the stares when you light one up ..then it's for you !!

Alec Bradley cigars are my "go to" cigar when l'm looking for a guaranteed excellent herf and l was expecting the same from the lancero. I'm actually smoking it as l write this. The first half is high maintenance for a disappointing return. The second half has developed into the quality l was expecting with an easy draw and volumes of taste. I don't like to say this but they need to be recalled, resized and sold as a bombaso.

Surprisingly good for what I assumed was a novelty cigar, pleasant all the way through. Plus my Cuban crafters cutter did the job of getting a nice cut best part of my cigar was 3/4 in when I got hints of cocoa and coffee. I will definitely buy another from Cgars - (Facebook)
