The Alec Bradley Orchant Selección was an interesting one for me. I’ve heard a lot about Alec Bradley cigars, and this particular collaboration blend felt like a good introduction. Right away, I noticed earthy notes with cedar and a bit of sweetness, almost like molasses. The construction was very good—solid draw, steady burn, and plenty of smoke output. Midway through, I picked up more cocoa and spice, which gave it a richer character. It’s medium-bodied overall, making it approachable but not boring. The flavors were balanced, though I wouldn’t say they blew me away. What I liked most was the smoothness—it never became harsh, and I was able to enjoy it at a relaxed pace. Toward the final third, the spice kicked up a little more, along with some nutty flavors, which gave it a satisfying finish. For me, this cigar felt dependable and enjoyable, though maybe not as memorable as some of the other brands I’ve tried. Still, it’s a solid choice and one I’d recommend to someone looking to explore Alec Bradley without diving straight into their stronger blends. Rating: 7/10

Read the previous reviews and was looking forward to smoking this cigar. Nice smell to the cigar. Smoked via a punch cut, but needed to use the easy draw, as was a very tight draw before lit. Fair amount of smoke. Canoed quickly and had to touch up, and burnt quickly as well, didn?t feel dry to the touch. Taste wasn?t brilliant, slightly bitter Only lasted 30 mins Won?t buy again

I was blown away by the perfection of this collection. The box itself got many compliments during my time in the lounge- rather classy perhaps. The cigars themselves appeared smooth, elegant and wrapped to perfection. Upon my first draw of one of the cigars, I was rather optimistic- I personally believed it was going to develop into a large pepperbomb. I was quickly proved wrong by these cigars through many.. clear and sharp notes. Theres a slight hint of spice however not too overpowering alongside a dark-oakey, wood and subtle hint of chocolate throughout the many draws. If done correctly, ashing is only necessary twice- in my session anyways. Half way through drawing, despite the increasing speed, the smoke remained at a relatively cool temperature- allowing ease in my draws. Approaching the end of the cigar, there was a subtle missing segment of flavor- rather bland in my opinion. This was however quickly fixed by a small glass of Emerald Isle- a perfect synthesis of flavours. As long as you maintain a good pace however not too persistent; keeping it lit will not become an issue- however, this does mean managing temperature. This cigar, in my opinion, is not suitable for beginners. It is however a perfect match for experienced individuals within a lounge, looking for an elegant cigar on the side. - Sir Gordon G. J. 1. Appearance & Construction. From the outset this cigar looked real classy. Nice dark brown wrapper, smooth to touch and with no visible imperfections. Looked and felt like it had been rolled with care and the cigar had a nice weight to it. The label also looked real regal. 15/15. 2. Flavor and Aroma. From the cold draw there was hints of chocolate, wood, coffee and a tiny bit of spice. After lighting this cigar just exploded with flavor. Nice, deep, bold and intense balanced perfectly. As the cigar progressed towards the 2nd and final 3rd the spiciness grew but didnt overpower the other flavours. Real unique flavor. However I did feel that something was lacking, maybe needed some element of creaminess or sweetness. Did however feel that this is more towards the medium to full category then just medium. 20/25. 3. Smoking Characteristics. Cutting and lighting came easy for this cigar. There was an uneven burn throughout the course of the smoke and no amount of touching up was able to fix this. Kudos to the double binder element as it slowed down the burn and almost felt like it had doubled up the smoking time. Draw was real easy and at no point did I feel the smoke get hotter stayed cool throughout. 20/25. 4. Overall experience. This was a great relaxing smoke. Slight uneven burn throughout but ash stayed on to the cigar till the label. Ash was a dark grey with spots of white. Smoked nicely, drew perfectly and tasted beautiful, however I did feel that something was lacking flavor wise but regardless this was a great cigar. Got a good 55 mins out of this. 28/35. Total points : 83/100.

Slow burn, high nicotine kick. Taste largely chocolate. I couldnÂ’t finish this cigar was harsh lacking smoothness maybe too strong for my taste. Binned halfway through.
