This American Whiskey is carefully distilled at Westland distillery, United States.

Westland Sherry Wood uses six different styles of malted barley, four different casks (Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez barrels, bourbon barrels, and American oak) in addition to... Belgian Brewer's Yeast.

It is matured a minimum of twenty-six months and bottled at an ABV of 46%

Tasting Notes

Nose: Honey-dipped oatmeal raisin cookies, maple syrup, banana pancakes.

Palate: Kiwi, maple syrup, raisins, sweet cookies, pastries, stewed yellow fruits.

Finish: Extended tastings offer a dazzling array of sweet cookies and pastries, getting darker and richer with time before eventually ceding the palate to stewed yellow fruits on the finish.

Definitely enjoying this unique one from the states. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. I am a fan of sherry casks, so had to give it a try. Not heavy at all, nice mellow sweet and spiciness.

