Description

The first organic Irish single malt whiskey from Waterford, Gaia 1.1 is made using 100% organic barley grown on seven different farms in Ireland.
 
Seven different farmers have provided the grain for this excellent young whisky.
 
This whisky was aged in 42% first-fill American oak, 17% virgin American oak, 18% Vin Doux Naturel (sweet fortified wines) and 23% premium French oak. A limited release of 24,000 bottles.
 
Please note, stock is limited from secondary market releases. 

Tasting Notes

Sweet cereal notes with extremely well-judged oak. Touches of eucalyptus and menthol on the finish provide lift. It’s one to revitalise the soul after a day spent ploughing or hoeing.
