Vouvray La Forcine White Wine - 12.5% 75cl

Grape variety, 100% Chenin Blanc unoaked. 

This Vouvray is sourced from some of the best vineyards located at the east of Tours and lie on a mixture of sand, clay and flint.

Fermented in the typical cellars made of ‘tuffeau’, a particular chalky soil from this region. Made with 100% Chenin Blanc, this is a classic Vouvray. Aromas of apple, citrus, pear and white flowers. Off dry, this is a deliciously fruity wine well balanced with a refreshing acidity.

Food Pairing - Great with lobster and other shellfish like scallops and mussels. It’s also lovely with pork with a fruit sauce, hot dogs with the works, and other white meats such as turkey. 

A classic medium dry Vouvray. Apple aromas on the nose, followed by elegant fruity citrus and ripe pear flavours on the palate, added to the wine's off dry character, the result is a fruity, zippy and refreshing balance, a classic expression of the Chenin Blanc grape.
