I thought these were not bad for the price really. My first box pressed cigar, that works quite well. Also the first cigar that i think I got coffee and dark chocolate notes from. A bit odd in that there's no cap, so it doesn't matter which way you smoke it.

The Villiger Export Pressed Maduro is a cigar that makes an immediate impression before you even light it. The first thing you’ll notice is its distinct square-pressed shape. Unlike your typical round parejo, this box-press gives it a modern, architectural feel that sits comfortably in the hand and won't roll off the table. Upon lighting, the smoke profile is rich and earthy. While many smaller cigars can be mild, this Maduro is deceptively powerful. As noted during the session, the strength is a bit on the stronger side, leaning toward a medium-to-full body. It delivers deep notes of roasted coffee, and a hint of spice on the finish.

Excellent flavour and good slow burn. Tastes better than some hand rolled cigars i have tried

Lots of smoke from these, strong, good hit and really nice retrohale, perhaps those giving it less than 4 stars should stick to light cigars and leave these for the real men. This is a fantastic smoke for the price and will last a good 20/25 minutes plus you dont need to keep these ones in a humidor so perfect for those looking to bulk buy and not worry about the quallity deminishing.

A full flavour quick smoke Maduro that is very barnyard with earthy and hardcore chocolate aftertaste. Not bad for the price, but not all that pleasant.

I bought the maduro and sumatra versions of the Villigers cigars to give them a try. I was quite surprised to see all the 5 star reviews for the sumatra, but thought I needed to try the maduro too in order to give a fair judgement. I have to be honest, I preferred the maduro a lot more out of the two, the flavour was so full and rich, slightly sweet with definitely chocolate notes. Yes you get a little tobacco in your mouth at the end, but I thoroughly enjoyed it all the way that it didnt bother me in the slightest. I will definitely be buying these again and giving them a 5 star review, theyre great.
