A full flavour quick smoke Maduro that is very barnyard with earthy and hardcore chocolate aftertaste. Not bad for the price, but not all that pleasant.

I bought the maduro and sumatra versions of the Villigers cigars to give them a try. I was quite surprised to see all the 5 star reviews for the sumatra, but thought I needed to try the maduro too in order to give a fair judgement. I have to be honest, I preferred the maduro a lot more out of the two, the flavour was so full and rich, slightly sweet with definitely chocolate notes. Yes you get a little tobacco in your mouth at the end, but I thoroughly enjoyed it all the way that it didnt bother me in the slightest. I will definitely be buying these again and giving them a 5 star review, theyre great.

A struggle to get through, if you want something stronger and earthier than the standard exports go for the Rio 6.

My favourite affordable daily cigar, and I’ve tried loads. I personally feel that these are probably the best of the Villiger Export bunch. I’m a fairly slow smoker and so get 35-45 mins out of one of these. A good size for the price. Medium-full, yet smooth flavour for me, comprised of quality tobacco. Machine-made with a consistent draw. Now these don’t need to be kept in a humidor, but they certainly benefit from it. Recommended.

First third was very bland, none of the tastes that other reviewers have mentioned. Picked up a little 2/3 in. Very harsh on the tongue 3/3. Burn was even but very fast, ash fell off unexpectedly soon into my lap. Very light draw. Lots of bits of tobacco in my mouth. Might benefit from more humidity, the one I tried was straight out the box. Smoked it with a fairly strong Japanese whiskey, that may have been its downfall as the flavours may have been overpowered. Not a real fan of the square shape in my mouth. For the price they are a chunky little smoke and are easily accessable at supermarkets (got mine from Asda). Fairly bland but not totally unpleasant. 2.5/5.

A pretty okay little smoke. The first half is a little bland, picking up to a nice chocolate flavour as you approach the last third, becoming a little more robust and chewy, which is great. Just a shame it takes a while to get there, but itÂ’s an easy smoke with a nice draw and a good even burn. Just be ready to pick bits out of your mouth though as itÂ’s a little loose in the top end. It does the job the money pays for though, so alls weÂ’ll that ends well.
