Tomintoul Peated - 40% 70cl

Unlike other Tomintoul expressions, Tomintoul Peated has been distilled using peated malted barley to impart a distinctive smoky flavour.

Matured in the finest American oak ex-bourbon barrels, Tomintoul Peated retains the core approachable, sweet and fruity characteristics associated with Tomintoul Single Malts but with the addition of a subtle campfire smoke.

This great whisky has been distilled in the traditional manner in the prestigious Speyside Glenlivet region, and unusually for this district, it is made with peated malted barley.

After 'sleeping' for 15 years in hand-picked oak barrels, this aged whisky exudes heathery smokiness moderated by soft Speyside Malt.

The result is a well - rounded and approachable whisky with hints of vanilla, malt, and a light, lingering smokiness, making it an excellent choice for those new to peated whiskies, as well as seasoned enthusiasts looking for a milder peaty experience.
