Description

The newest member of our core range, this 21 year old whisky has been finished in Oloroso sherry casks, with notes of cherry wood, brown sugar and caramelised pineapples.

Joining the award winning 12 year old in the unpeated Tobermory whisky core range, this 21 year old is small batch produced at our distillery on the Isle of Mull.

Distilled into whisky refill cask on the 16th of December 1999, this spirit was then transferred into Oloroso sherry casks on the 26th of February, 2015.

The result is a beautifully sweet and vibrant dram.

Like all Tobermory whiskies, this is non-chill filtered and natural colour, with an abv of 46.3%, mirroring other core range expressions.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Marzipan, hazelnuts, toffee and treacle. 

Palate: Cherry wood, brown sugar, caramelised pineapples and sticky toffee.

Finish: Fresh, light and sweet.

This is unique, complex and balanced. Very enjoyable for those who like sherry and things out of the ordinary.

