Timorous Beastie x West Brewery is a limited-edition Highland single malt finished in casks that once held WESTWERK03, a rich doppelbock brewed by Glasgow’s West Brewery.

Bottled at 48% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added colour, this unique collaboration marries Timorous Beastie’s signature honeyed Highland character with the malt-rich, chocolatey depth of the beer.

Expect layers of sweet oak, honeycomb, candied peel and a lingering richness – a bold and memorable celebration of Scotland’s brewing and distilling heritage.

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Elegant and delightful, blending classic floral Highland malt notes with sweet, honeyed barley and creamy cereal.

Palate: Rich, elegant, and full-bodied. The signature honey'd sweetness of Timorous Beastie collides beautifully with the Doppelbock casks, offering notes of sweet oak, honeycomb, bright candied peel, and a deep, malt-rich, chocolatey character.

Finish: Lingering, moreish, and highly elegan
