As a cherished member of Buffalo Trace’s esteemed Antique Collection, this annual release epitomizes the distillery’s dedication to time-honoured craftsmanship and bold, rye-forward excellence.

Thomas H. Handy was a bartender from New Orleans in the 19th century. He is credited with introducing rye whiskey to the Sazerac Cocktail, a classic cocktail that is considered one of the oldest known American cocktails.

The whiskey named in his honour, and is released annually. Making Thomas H. Handy a must have for enthusiasts! 

 

Tasting Notes
