The Hearach Isle of Harris Whisky - 46% 70cl

The Hearach is the first, historic single malt whisky from the island distillery and the Isle of Harris.

Like the iconic Harris Tweed cloth created for generations, this first historic whisky is woven from the hands of island people, intimately intertwining to produce an elegant spirit of complexity and character. 

This special connection between people and place continues to this day with every drop of The Hearach created by Isle of Harris hands here in the Outer Hebrides. 

This recipe uses spirit matured in ex-bourbon casks, oloroso and fino butts.

700ml / 46% ABV

Non-chill filtered / No artificial colouring. 

Nose: Fine and fresh. A dazzling herbaceous bouquet of mint, anise and light peat, followed by notes of pure chlorophyll and green apple.

Palate: Rich and full-bodied. The attack evokes a barley field, with a touch of peat and salt, followed by spices (cloves, pepper) and flavors of barley and parsley.

Finish: Long and serene. Fine notes of licorice peat and herbaceous flavors (fresh green bean) dominate, with a particularly striking green tea aftertaste.
