The Cheshire Special Release IPA Cask English Whisky - 46% 70cl

Single Malt Whisky distilled at the Weetwood Distillery in the heart of Cheshire.

As brewers and distillers, this Special Release combines two passions in a delightfully vibrant expression.

The folk have filled six quarter casks with their most full-flavoured beer, the mighty Jester IPA, and let the hoppy beer impart its character into the barrels before re-filling with finishing whisky.

The resulting subtle tropical and citrus hop flavours beautifully complement the creamy smooth whisky to produce an easy-drinking, accessible expression.

There will only be 1,248 bottles of this unique release, each individually numbered and packed in a smart presentation tube – so great for gifting as well as drinking.

Nose: Zesty citrus and a hint of fresh herbs; pineapple and tropical fruit.

Palate: Sweet biscuit backed by light mango, green apple and creamy vanilla.

Finish: Long and very smooth, gentle warmth, lingering caramel.
