The Solani pipe tobacco brand was launched in 1988 by Herr Ridiger Will, Master blender and creator of the Borkum Riff brand of pipe tobaccos.

Creating a quality tobacco the Solani way involves extensive testing over which takes many weeks due to the natural ingredients of raw tobacco, which can have very different effects on the flavouring.

Solani offers a concise range of pure and flavoured pipe tobaccos, both in mixtures and in flakes, aromatics and non aromatics.

The Solani White & Black 763 is blended from a balanced blend of the finest Dark Virginia, Black Cavendish and Syrian Latakia Leaves. The blend is then pressed into a flake and cooked under pressure to intensify the flavour, and bring out the natural sweetness of the tobacco, before being broken up into a ready rubbed form for your convenience and enjoyment. No additional casing or flavouring is added to this blend, so the true tobacco flavours and expert blending can be fully appreciated and enjoyed.
