Description

Skipper, a rich and full-bodied dark rum distilled in Guyana, was first launched in 1930 and still carries the same iconic label today.

It is known for a rich, bittersweet profile dominated by notes of treacle, molasses, dark chocolate, coffee, and dried fruits like raisins, finished with warming spices such as cloves and cinnamon. 

This smooth, thick spirit is perfect for cocktails, or simply enjoyed with cola and a squeeze of lime.

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Pungent molasses, burnt fruitcake, treacle, butterscotch, and espresso beans.

Palate: Brawny and rich with notes of salted caramel, dark chocolate fudge, raisins, and crème brûlée.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering notes of cinnamon, gingernut biscuits, and oak tannins.
