SANCHO PANZA

Like other great Havana brands such as Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta, Sancho Panza takes it name from a masterpiece of world literature.

In Don Quixote, the famous 17th Century Spanish novel by Miguel de Cervantes, it was Sancho Panza who served the errant knight as his faithful squire. His name was first used for a Havana in 1848 and since then it has enjoyed a reputation for quality amongst discerning smokers. Don Quixote was, of course, famous for tilting at windmills.

The range today comprises of  four cigars including the Molino or mill, which is a Cervantes size.

Filled with a medium-bodied blend of filler and binder tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo zone, all sizes are ‘tripa larga, totalmente a mano’ – long filler, totally handmade.

NON PLUS

There is no more whimsical name given to a Petit Corona. Probably an abbreviation for Non Plus Ultra meaning 'there's none better'. Who are we to argue?

Tasting Notes

An ideal every day smoke at a good price. Lots of flavour and earthiness with a nice flawless burn.

89 / 100

"Slightly pressed with attractive, tawny colour. The draw is a bit tight, offering a very cedary smoke with some nuttiness and earth on the finish..."

creamy. smooth. nice. If you like a milder, light cigar then this ones for you. A perfect Cuban for a beginner, though its lightness may not satisfy the more experienced. One of my personal favourites. written by dogmonkey

The draw on this cigar is effortless. The smoke is fuller than many other medium smokes and therefore not suitable possibly for the brand new newcomer. Myself though (an intermediate newcomer) found this an effortless and a decent daytime spicy smoke. Not my favourite but ok. written by nick

a little to light for me, seems to lack depth. Sokes well, minor burn problems. Not offensive in any way, didnt hook me. written by JM USA
