I did not purchase this cigar from C. Gars as it was gifted to me, the experience is my own and was enjoyable. This review will be posted on the other Churchill bands as the flavour remains the same but the novelty cigar band is the only thing that differs. The Romeo y Julieta Churchill Wide is one of those cigars that instantly feels special from the moment you pick it up. For someone like me still building experience, this cigar set a new benchmark for what a refined, classic Cuban should deliver. It’s beautifully constructed—firm, smooth, and fragrant before lighting. On the cold draw, I got soft notes of cedar, earth, and a hint of sweetness. Once lit, the first third opened with that signature Romeo y Julieta creaminess, layered with mild spice and wood. The smoke was smooth and aromatic, never harsh, and the draw was perfectly balanced. As it developed, gentle floral and nutty tones appeared, with moments of cocoa and toasted almond weaving in. The burn line was impressively even throughout, showing the kind of craftsmanship the brand is known for. By the final third, the flavors deepened but stayed elegant—more earth, spice, and roasted coffee, finishing on a creamy, satisfying note. The overall experience felt timeless and balanced from start to finish. The Churchill isn’t just a cigar—it’s an education in smoothness and structure. For me, it’s one of the most complete Cubans I’ve tried so far: refined, aromatic, and deeply enjoyable. Rating: 9/10

What a disappointment, tried one of these about 3 weeks ago and loved it, purchased one for my self, hard to light, would not stay alight, visible large stem on outside of cigar, gave up only after smoking 1/3 of the cigar, total waste not enjoyable at all. Certainly would not buy again.

Had this one today in CGars Chester. Extremely easy draw with loads of smoke. Love the gauge on this one. Really light creamy flavours at the start, with stronger chocolatey notes as the cigar moves down. Some spice and earthy notes towards the end. An amazing cigar. On the expensive side compared to other brands like Upmann, but the complexity of flavour somewhat justifies it. 90/100

This Cuban cigar is one of my favourites. Has some buttery, sweet notes at first and has a great range of flavours. woody, minty as you approach the end. And of course it is a privilege to smoke a brand that Churchill loved and adds to the special nature of this cigar. 5*

This is a lovely cigar. I would have given it 5 stars, however the first part was clogged, and the wrapper also peeled off while smoking which caused some difficulties. If those two things didn’t happen, it would been ideal. Also didn’t give me cigar sickness which is always a massive plus.
