ORCHANT SELECCION

The Rocky Patel Orchant Seleccion is a new release for 2024 and available exclusively to C.Gars and Turmeaus Cigars & Whisky stores in the UK. It is a medium-bodied cigar made in the El Paraiso factory, Honduras. Every time we begin the process of crafting a new Orchant Seleccion many blends are sampled in an attempt to isolate and partition the finest expression possible.

Showcasing a Honduran-grown Corojo wrapper with a core blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan filler, the Rocky Patel Orchant Seleccion is quite simply put: a masterpiece.

Recently bought five of these as part of a flash sale. Fantastic cigars, great flavour, even burn and plenty of smoke. Nice even draw and lasted a good 45 to 50 minutes for me. So impressed I wish I had bought more.


The draw was nice and open. On light up got a blast of red and black pepper on the retro hale, spicy. The spice mellowed after a few draws and I was left with a strong black pepper and woody notes of cedar. The 2nd third has notes of leather and cedar. The pepper notes have completely mellowed. The final third has a cocoa note, the flavours are mainly cedar and oak. Im impressed with this smoke, will definitely be purchasing more.


Beautifully crafted cigar, easy to light and a great draw. Not too strong strength wise. Taste is slightly sweet even on the wrapper. This follows into slight oak and cedar notes in the middle with almost a choco taste at the 2/3 mark. I’ve seen people write about the wrapper breaking but I must’ve been lucky. If I had the money I’d get a box of these. Simply awesome for the price.


Not a bad smoke but the wrapper was so delicate that it started to crack and come apart immediately. My kind of strength and the flavour was good. Not the most even burn but it did produce a lot of smoke which I also like. Draw was good throughout. After recently smoking the emerald and sixty sixty this felt like Rocky Patel’s poor relation.


Good cigar loved smoking it lighting it was not problem and the quality of the cigar or superb smell perfect

