Awful cigars Purchased a box of 10 Aug 24, first was ok at first but turned very bitter. Thought they would be better after sitting for a bit, Xmas was the same bitter experience, no flavour to speak of at all. May 25, cigar unraveled after cutting, wrapper was tracing paper thin but gave it a chance after sitting for longer but it was the same bitter experience. Harsh after lighting, leave to settle down and think something could be there but it’s just the cedar from the humidor, didn’t develop at all. Not great.

First cigar on a holiday in the Canaries. Absolutely lovely little cigar, paired with a fine Bajan sipping rum. Draw was perfect. Last few cigars I’ve had had a tight draw. Always been fond of Rocky Patel cigars. Bought as a set with other Rocky Patels. Look forward to sampling those. Will definitely be returning to this for a shorter smoke.

Now, I have been searching for a good value new world alternative to the Cubans I normally smoke. This did not disappoint. Light to medium body and flavour. Great burn, very light draw which was a different but pleasant experience. Flavour was good and the price is a big draw (pardon the terrible pun) I will order more for sure and feel now I should try more of this brand and also the orchant seleccion

I had the pleasure of smoking my first Rocky Patel Orchant Seleccion Petit Robusto yesterday during my latest visit to St James's (02/05/24'). To my taste, this is an excellent cigar that burns beautifully, produces lovely white smoke and offers a smooth and pleasurable smoke. The tie up with Rocky Patel is an absolute yes for me being a huge fan of his cigars and the Orchant Seleccion range. I would class this as a perfect 'go to' cigar earlier in the day with a nice double expresso - its production thanks to Mitchell Orchant's amazing palate has produced a fine balance of flavour with the blending of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco . Lighter than I would normally smoke, this lovely cigar did not disappoint - I left with a box of 10 and now I'm just waiting for the sun to come out! :)
