Richmond is a British brand of cigarettes, produced briefly in Canada.

The brand was introduced in 1968 as a filtered king-size. The first brand to use the Strickman Filter, an early high-filtration filter tip that was thought to reduce particulate matter in the smoke more effectively than the standard filter tip. These claims were later disproved, and the brand was withdrawn by the early 1970s.

Richmond was re-introduced into U.K. markets in 1999 as a value brand.

They come in the following varieties:

• Richmond Real Blue King Size and Superkings.
• Richmond Bright Blue (Smooth) King Size and Superkings.
• Richmond Green Fusion King Size and Superkings (name changed to Richmond Green Filter without menthol in 2020)

The Richmond Green Filter are a non-menthol cigarette made from RSS paper and have a white firm filter.

The RSS paper is one of many new products aimed at menthol and Crushball consumers. It is a less-smoke-smell paper in which fine tobacco is carefully wrapped and the result is the reduced Linger of smoke smell on your clothes.

The Firm Filter is a premium quality filter that retains its shape and structure until the end of the smoke, delivering a more consistent smoking experience.
