I think I was overly influenced by the tasting notes and reviews. Its a nice smoke but the flavours and aroma are not what I was hoping for. That said it is a small delight, its mellow and mild, no sign of bite or harshness its pleasantly sweet but not too sweet with interesting and quite lovely flavours but not as described (to my pallet) . I have enjoyed it but it lacks something, it could do with a little more punch but excellent for new pipe smokers.
I score it 4 stars in comparison I give Elizabethan Mixture 5 plus and My Mixture 3 plus

The maderia wine notes on the finish left me wnating more and more, can feel a collection of these being started in the home bar!

Liquid sweetnes with every glass, fantastic cinnamon notes, if you love rye, you will love this!

Appocah this one with caution, you may end up drinking more than you expected, its just that good! My go to from the Michters range!

This is easy drinking, flavour heavy, and unmistakably a rye whiskey, got 3/4 of the bottle left that im saving for a special occasion!
