Torn. On the one hand, kudos to a >50 ring guage stick for 1hr of smoking time. On the other hand, a real Jekyll and Hyde experience. Good, firm construction, a tight cap, the wrapper feels great; but the draw is tight and it doesnt express much smoke. After the first inch I can find warm spice and caffe latte; but its over a background of vegetal notes and some ammonia.

Work best (and really effectively) if you buy new green cigarettes, eg, Bensen & Hedges, which have white tips (like the old menthol ones) rather than cork tips of ordinary cigarettes. Just my own experience. Still a bit of a faff because you have to insert the menthol card for at least an hour (several hours is better!) for real menthol flavour but it does kick in so be patient. M.

New to cigars, after trying a fair few recently this is 100% up there with my favourites. I found it to be really flavourful and smooth, with a smoking time of around 45 minutes.

Cuban at its best I love the roughness of the wrapper. IÂ’ve smoked Top notch Cubans and for the price IÂ’m coming back to these every time

Great Beginners and Everyday Smoke!
Fantastic construction, even burn and great mild, creamy-coffee flavour. Smoked for just under an hour and flavour was great throughout. Will be buying again and checking out the other sizes.

So, had one last night.Now of the firm opinion that the Cohiba brand is being supplied and supposedly enjoyed on its reputation alone. I believe this is a scandal and the powers that be need to speedily rectify this, as there are still many out there who will happily smoke rubbish, as long as it has a black and yellow band.
Trying to avoid the vast fake market is a headache in itself, but having the fear, that I have, that a thirty pound stick will probably not satisfy, has led me away from the brand I loved so much.
Appearance, reasonable, thus pulling me in. Burn poor. Construction poor, draw difficult.Taste, nothing special. Was glad to finish it quickly, to get on to a partagas or Upmann.
Actually, the same story last week with a Medio Siglo.
Consistency in mediocrity.
Avoid Cohibas, please.
