Could not get it to burn properly. Tasted like crap. Gave up half way through and chucked it in the fire. Thats twenty quid Ill never see again. Gave it three stars instead of one on the assumption others may not be this terrible.

Having been a long time aficionado of some 23 years, I believe in giving a cigar credit where credit is due and that is most certainly the case with the Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios. It is a great sized, well built, flavourful, beautiful looking cigar.
From the very beginning it did not disappoint. It gave everything I expected of this Cohiba Maduro wrapper cigar: A perfect even burn from the start, packed with a broad spectrum of flavours; From the well known Cohiba creamy vanilla taste, through the spices, leather, cocoa, the well known eucalyptus of an aged cigar right through to ammonia.
This cigar gives you everything it has to the point youll allow it to burn your knuckles because you dont want it to end.
A reasonably strong cigar, displaying a mix of similarities to both the Behike and Cohiba Robusto Supremos, this is something I would highly recommend for the more experienced smoker that wants to try a higher end or Maduro cigar. A very good cigar, especially at this pricepoint. I dare say its better than some more expensive cubans.
Burn was good and it held together extremely well, even when I smoked it down to a nub. I got sweet, spicy, earthy notes. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Easily the smoothest and most relaxed cigar I’ve ever enjoyed.
This is a cigar to enjoy after dinner alone or as the sun goes down.
I smoked it late at night under the stars and couldn’t believe just how relaxing and soft it was.
Makes you wonder just what it must be like to hold those other more expensive cigars between your fingers!
Will definitely keep ordering.
Also, have to say the delivery was very fast and the packaging was excellent. Can not recommend enough.

Definitely a case where looks can be deceiving. At first sight this cigar looks the part, but it was evident that the thin wrapper was quite brittle and was coming away from the body in several places. The cigar was smoked within 2 days of receiving it so age and storage on my part was not the issue. A hole punch was used (carefully) yet the wrapper split and peeled away leading the end to get soggy quickly as the cigar was smoked. In all fairness the cigar itself tasted rather nice with some pleasant flavours, but the more it was smoked the more the wrapper came away in places. The final third was not smokeable because every puff led to more and more tobacco in my mouth and the integrity of the cigar had become completely compromised and was falling apart. Extremely disappointing especially considering the price point!
