A great find. Got this in a sampler pack a month or so ago, and put it away to rest for a bit. Smoked it this morning and it reminded me of Cubans that I used to smoke back in the eighties when I first got into cigars (R&J anyone?). As per the description there are hints of cedar, baking spices and white pepper, plus I also detected hints of coffee and perhaps a little leather in the final third. All these flavours meld perfectly together without any one overpowering the other. Lasted me a good 45-50 minutes and Im not a particularly slow smoker ( although I did smoke it to the point of my fingers burning as I didnt want it to end). Burn was very even and ash holds well. So impressed that I ordered the 9 cigar sampler to see what the rest of the range is like. I suspect I will discover my next box-worthy purchase amongst them. Thoroughly recommended, particularly at this price.

I would agree with Craig above - first smoke and was pleasantly surprised at how mild and smooth it is . Construction was good, and a generally well made cigar and more importantly, didnt go out once and had a good even burn. Id say this is under rated frankly as the price point is bang on the money.

Smoked this on my birthday and what a fitting smoke for the occasion! A beautifully wonderful easy going, smooth, yet complex light to medium smoke and an underlying Cuban spirit in the aroma. Cuban cigars are no doubt the best. Ive also come to the conclusion that these longer formats are the best way to enjoy the brand at it best. Over 2 hours burn time of top quality tobacco I strongly reccomend this cigar.

A lovely smooth pull, great flavour, have had a couple with the wrapping loose/peeling, but have managed to repair them with a drop of cigar glue. They definitely benefit from being punched, as they’re very tightly packed at the closed end, so they can taste a little weak and not smoke very much if they’re just cut.

Loved this cigar.new to cigars but easily my favourite so far. Nice even draw creamy smoke and ash doesn’t drop. Will always have a supply of these in my humidor

Another brilliant no-nonsense cigar, excellent quality and value for the price point. The quintessential maduro smoke great aroma ans smooth medium body smoke that went well with a coffee on a Sunday Bank Holiday weekend. Consistent flavour throughout slight sweet, rich chocolate hints of wood.
Only issue was right at the band there was a pinch point and nicotine got a bit strong. Smoked to the top of the band for 2h 10m burn time.
Not as good as the champagne but Im very impressed and I am looking forward to the release of the sun grown over here. Cheers Nick.
