Aladino Connecticut Queens Perfecto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 07 September, 2022
My first real foray into the World of Cigar smoking, and was guided by the guys in the Liverpool store to give these a go. As he said' if your going to start, start on a good one..', and personally recommended this range as being one of his favourites (so more to follow). Apologies but I cant go into all the details of the flavours/complexities, as yet to develop that but as a relaxing, chilling gentle smoke...perfect. Flavour wise, its a mild cool cigar with an easy draw, that tastes well to the end of the cigar, and didnt taste bitter at all (I smoked it to the start of the label..no idea if thats right, but guess label is placed there for a reason). Ive smoked cigars where Ive spent ages spitting out bits of leaf, but not this one, held together nicely and stayed firm on the lips Lasted a good 30 mins of relaxed smoking, so is for me just about right, now looking to try more of the range.

Alec Bradley Orchant Seleccion Shorty Cigar - Box of 10
Date Added: Tuesday 06 September, 2022
I was blown away by the perfection of this collection. The box itself got many compliments during my time in the lounge- rather classy perhaps. The cigars themselves appeared smooth, elegant and wrapped to perfection. Upon my first draw of one of the cigars, I was rather optimistic- I personally believed it was going to develop into a large pepperbomb. I was quickly proved wrong by these cigars through many.. clear and sharp notes. Theres a slight hint of spice however not too overpowering alongside a dark-oakey, wood and subtle hint of chocolate throughout the many draws. If done correctly, ashing is only necessary twice- in my session anyways. Half way through drawing, despite the increasing speed, the smoke remained at a relatively cool temperature- allowing ease in my draws. Approaching the end of the cigar, there was a subtle missing segment of flavor- rather bland in my opinion. This was however quickly fixed by a small glass of Emerald Isle- a perfect synthesis of flavours. As long as you maintain a good pace however not too persistent; keeping it lit will not become an is

Davidoff Orchant Seleccion Liverpool Edition Toro Cigar - 1 Single

Wow, I have to begin this review with stating: Dont buy this cigar. I decided to purchase this cigar for a ceremonial event; I was however met with a disappointing cigar. It arrived poorly packaged which to a point- was unsmokeable! I was the laughing stock of the lounge! I managed to establish two draws- not even emitting any notes. The smoke just appeared.. too much for my liking. I wouldnt recommend this cigar at all- had to give up on it.

My Father Flor De Las Antillas - Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 06 September, 2022
My Father Flor De Las Antillas happens to be on the first cigars Ive ever had the privellge of having. Upon every draw, youre met with a large variety of notes; including a light-oaky creamy mellow tone to it. I personally managed to establish a inch of ash before ashing- the notes still consisting through the cigar. Eventually, youre met with a bright vanilla note- an excellent way to finish such a cigar. The wrapper however appeared loose and uncatered for -slightly disappointing- such an elegant cigar. The smoke was quite suprising however I got used to it rather quickly- a pure milky apperance, absolute perfection. I will however will not be purchasing this cigar in the near future- it was however a nice one off experience.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Raconteur Petit Panatela Cigar - 1 Single

Mild and creamy. It was easy to light, nice draw but for some inexplicable reason it went out half way down. Re-light was quick. Some pepper at the end of this very smooth smoke. I need more kick for my palette. Each to their own.

Inka Secret Blend Blue Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single

Very happy with this cigar. Good amount of smoke, not too heavy on the flavours which changed on the way down. Not huge, but enough for interest. Citrus and black pepper to me. The ash left a cone, which I take as a sign of a well rolled cigar. The draw was easy and consistent. Next up is the red. Ill see if I have a preference. One or the other is getting a bundle into the shopping cart.
