This baccy takes me back to day's gone by when my uncle smoked the pipe all day long, that aroma was always there when visiting him, great stuff. Dave.

Date Added: Sunday 22 October, 2023
First time for me with this alsbo blend It is a nice smoke but I don't really taste anything memorable, other reviews are saying it's smooth and vanilla taste is evident, I find the flavour quite weak however it is a good smoke and I will be using this blend again. Dave.

Very tight draw - thought I was doing something wrong but the other reviews seemed to have the comment! Taste was very okay

Trinidad Reyes Cigar - 1 Single

Lovely smoke. Perfect draw and just a great expression of a Cuban cigar. Salty notes and a great burn. Enjoyed it with a Tullamore Dew 14 Single Malt Irish Whiskey. Ordered it as part of a Cuban selection from C Gars. Not at all harsh or overly strong. A fine balance and a depth of flavour which is close to perfection in my book. Not an cheap cigar but life is for living.

Foundation Charter Oak CT Broadleaf Lonsdale Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 19 October, 2023
Very nice cigar from my monthly New World subscription, the wrapper is dark with a soft sheen it has an excellent draw, and a lovely light grey ash, nice aroma too. Like all New World cigars if I brought a box of these they would be consistently excellent. I would like to top up my nearly empty humidor with a box of Charter Oak. 10/10

Quintero Favoritos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 19 October, 2023
This is a budget Cuban cigar that comes at a very affordable price, it is unbeatable. The construction is not bad despite the poor looks. It burns fine, but needed some corrections. The ash is light grey and stable, it fell only at the end of the second third. It gives a good amount of smoke and the draw is easy. On the first third, I got vegetal, leather, and earthy notes. On the second third, I felt a bit of creaminess and sweetness. The last third provides a lot of creamy and toasty notes and the sweetness is more pronounced. To be honest, the quality varies from 1 cigar to another, but overall this is not a bad smoke. I enjoyed it so I recommend it for those that want to try a Cuban without breaking the wallet.
