Cohiba Shorts Cigar - 1 Single

Interesting little cigar. I haven't sampled any of the cohiba range so this was my introduction. I purchased three and on the initial try I did not like it. The flavour was ashy and bonfirey. However after leaving them in my humidor bag for a month or so, I tried another one and was surprised to find a delicate straw and hay flavour shining through. I'm very much looking forward to sampling the range further and I may revisit these.

This is an excellent cigar. Smooth and creamy, with light leather flavour. I bought two to celebrate a friend's birthday. We both thought they are superb. Brilliant construction and perfect draw. I will definitely revisit these cigars.

An all-around great cigar at good value for money, decently rich taste, good smoke time. Would recommend.

I mainly like my Cubans but I keep coming back to this one. It’s a fantastic new world cigar. Don’t think I’ve had one that wasn’t perfect draw/construction/burn etc. It’s fairly strong but not overpowering at all. Smooth. Nice balance to it as you have the bitter base tones with a nice sweetness over the top. Also I quite like how they are box pressed and feel like you’re smoking a kazoo!!

mild with a creamy taste with slight tea sweetness aftertaste. Surprisingly peppery on retro hale for such a mild cigar, needs to be stronger to warrant the pepper in my opinion.
One to pair with a sweet/fruity tea rather than a coffee. Not unpleasant but better options available for a repeat smoker.

Cigar felt a bit ‘spongy’.
Lit reasonably well with a small punch cut.
Nice aroma, but tasted bitter on the lips, and that bitterness was there during the whole smoke. Did not get any of the flavour profiles that other reviewers mentioned.
Won’t be buying again.
